The
harmonica-shaped aluminium tube is named for its harmonical resemblance to the harmonica. During use, the medium that needs to be cooled flows through the tube. The number of holes in the aluminum harmonica tube is generally 5-25, more than 60, the wall thickness is 0.2-1.0mm, and the height is about 5mm.
Harmonica-shaped aluminium tube is used to manufacture the belt condenser. The user first puts the harmonica tube on the special tire. In the form of a serpentine, the wave-shaped heat-dissipating belt coated with a composite aluminum foil with a thickness of 0.15-0.2 mm of the welding material is assembled with the harmonica tube, and then welded into a condenser of the heat exchange system in an inert gas brazing furnace.
Alloys and specifications
The
harmonica-shaped aluminium tube’s wall thcikness is thin, the number of holes is large, and the inner cavity area is small. The alloy with good plasticity, strong fluidity, moderate strength, good weldability and high corrosion resistance should be used. Most of the alloys are made of 1035. 1050, and 1070 alloy. The microstructure of the
harmonica-shaped aluminium tube’s welds shall be free of defects, no cracking during cold deformation, and the bursting pressure that can withstand ≥8 N/mm2, and the processing plant shall be extruded by a 5-8 MN extruder. In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the pipe, 3003, 3102 alloy is used. In order to improve the pressure of the pipe, 6063 alloy can be used.
